Essential functions:
- This position is skilled in all aspects of maintenance in an industrial environment.
- Must have good character and communications skills.
- Knowledge in Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, belts and conveyor systems.
- Experience and troubleshooting skills.
- Shifts worked include days, nights and under conditions which include all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
- Ability to work around water and other surfaces in all weather conditions.
- Ability to use tools of the trade including and not limited to hand/power tools, drive pickup trucks and specialty maintenance trucks.
- Other skills include, carpentry, plumbing, general building maintenance, use of torches, and welding tools and equipment preferred.
- Ability to fill out written reports and documents as related to their job activity.
