We are committed to providing our employees with a safe and healthy work environment. On top of safety audits and inspections, we conduct regular safety training, encouraging active safety program participation, with all our employees and authorized contractors.

Safety is a consistent theme throughout our operations, as it is at our safety-minded parent, SEACOR Holdings Inc. It is re-enforced by management and a team of professionals who frequently board vessels and visit our terminals.
Zero Incidents
Goal Zero is the name we give our overall safety program. We use a range of training approaches to embed the safety culture from start of work talks to eLearning. Quarterly safety on the river campaigns and our National Safety Month campaign heighten awareness and maintain our commitment.
Exceeding Industry Standards
SCF ’s commitment goes beyond the basics, implementing established industry initiatives. We support the American Waterways Operators Responsible Carrier Program, and Sub M regulations, the Grain Elevator and Processing Society safety programs and the Mine Safety and Health Administration standard.
